Accommodation & Facilities

Our guest rooms are located on the first and second floors. We offer 10 twin rooms however, all our beds can be zipped together making a super king bed upon request. On the first floor, we have one en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower with a fitted fold-down chair, suitable for those with any mobility issues. All other en-suite bathrooms are either walk-in showers with grab rails for those who may require them or over-bath showers.

In every room, you will find tea and coffee-making facilities, a mini fridge, TV, free wi-fi, fresh towels and complimentary toiletries. Hairdryers, ironing board and iron are available upon request. We have two folding put-up beds if required, subject to availability, but will need to be booked in advance and extra charges will apply if there is a child in the room.

We have a ramp to the front of the building and a two person lift to provide access to the first and second floor. The lift can accommodate a walking aid or fold-down wheelchair but is too narrow for a wheelchair that is in use. The dining room is accessible by a few stairs up, but handrails are in place.

On-street parking is available on the street to the front of the building which is free all day. Do not park in a loading bay as parking wardens will give you a ticket. If you park in a disabled bay, please ensure you display your blue badge. If there is no on-street parking there are two car parks on the other side of the road, one just before our building and one just after (both are within view of Kitchener’s). Car park operating times are 8am – 6pm daily and is free for the first 30 mins and is no more than £4 for a full day’s parking.

The nearest train station is Lowestoft (0.7 miles) and the nearest airport is Norwich International (approx. 30 miles). Check-in times are 2 pm – 8 pm and check-out is 10 am.

The Lord Kitchener Memorial Holiday Centre is situated on Lowestoft’s seafront in Suffolk. Lowestoft Beach is home to two award-winning stretches of golden, sandy beaches. Directly opposite Kitchener’s is Claremont Pier which hosts two bars, a fish & chip shop with a takeaway kiosk serving drinks and ice creams, an arcade, and an indoor adventure golf, providing all-day entertainment even on the cold, rainy days.
