How we can help veterans who find us through Veterans Gateway

We provide en suite serviced accommodation to those who have served in the armed forces, the merchant service and the emergency services, to their husbands, wives or partners; and to the widows and widowers of the same. If you, your welfare officer, key worker or assessor think that a break would help you then we can provide it. We do not offer care but we provide a safe and comfortable refuge among other ex-service personnel.

Some ways in which we can help:

Are your four walls driving you mad? If you are ex-service then we can at least offer you a change of scene amongst people whose life experiences will probably have been similar to your own. Spend a few days with us to return home refreshed and re-charged.

Are you a carer? Carers need looking after too and we exclusively cater for ex-service personnel and their families. Sadly we cannot offer care but if you can arrange that locally then we can look after you while you stay with us for a break from your daily routine. We have ten en-suite twin bedded rooms so you can bring a friend.

Are you between houses? For whatever reason you can find yourself temporarily without a roof over your head. We can provide the shelter you need until your new home is ready.

Is you home being decorated? Get away from the noise and dust while the work is being carried out by staying with us for as long as it takes.

Are you visiting the grandchildren? If your grandchildren live in the Lowestoft and district area then why not stay with us rather than with your son or daughter. You will be able to escape when you have had enough for the day and visit them again tomorrow.
